Washington University brought Kim and Matt together, so it was only fitting that their nuptials took place on the same campus. Kim was glowing yet relaxed in her beautiful lace gown, adorned with a few hilarious (and gorgeous) bridesmaids. The day was surrounded with the most incredible and lavish flowers. I quickly learned that Kim and her family were lifelong friends (and neighbors) with the head of all of Schnucks’ floral, and he was doing her flowers. I don’t even have any words. You’ll just have to check out the classically lovely and romantic wedding below.
Matt and Mandy welcomed their first baby, Colton! I’ve been shooting with this fabulous couple since their engagement shoot, and I’ve had the honor of also shooting their wedding, and now, their first child. It’s so exciting, and meeting this adorable little boy was a huge treat. We even got to incorporate Matt’s fire uniform, which was a call back to their engagement shoot, when he put it on and swept Mandy off her feet. We knew we had to use it for little Colton too. I hope you enjoy these fun photos from Colton’s newborn shoot!
On March 1, I had the huge honor of shooting Gabby and Derek’s wedding in Columbus, Georgia. What was even more fun was the unique experience of shooting alongside my mom, with R Turner Photography. Gabby was an insanely beautiful bride, and hers and Derek’s pure love radiated from the inside out. I wanted to share a sneak peek from this southern wedding, complete with cowboy boots, homemade jams, and hay floors.
